This unique opportunity offers a chance to develop your leadership and program management skills within a supportive environment. You will contribute to regional projects aligned with national policies, focusing on the implementation of the Long-Term Workforce Plan (LTWP) in London.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical expertise and support specialties in identifying workforce needs based on expansion and distribution strategies.
  • Contribute to the development of the medical workforce, encompassing locally employed doctors, SAS staff, and educators.
  • Analyze existing data and evidence related to current and future workforce trends, acting as a collaborative expert for individual Trusts.
  • Work closely with Trust clinical and education leaders, alongside ICS workforce boards, to define and implement potential solutions.
  • Promote the utilization of workforce transformation tools (FasterClass, STAR, CLEAR, Distribution Toolkit) among healthcare providers.
  • Attend meetings and provide updates on workforce transformation projects within specialties.
