London Business School is seeking a dynamic Head of Open Programme Sales to join our thriving Executive Education division.

In the role of Head of Open Programme Sales, you will spearhead the Executive Education Open Sales Team, driving them to meet and surpass financial targets while working collaboratively with the broader team to ensure programme awareness and alignment with client needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contributing to the overarching Executive Education strategy and effectively communicating this to the Open Sales Team.
  • Serving as a representative to prospective, current, and former corporate clients to foster new business, repeat engagements, and referrals.
  • Achieving and exceeding the contribution targets for open programmes.
  • Leading a motivated, inspired, and high-performing team of Client Relationship Managers.
  • Regularly reviewing and adjusting pricing for all open programmes.
  • Collaborating with Brand & Marketing to shape all marketing initiatives for open programmes to enhance visibility, drive preference, and maximize lead generation.
  • Working alongside the Open Portfolio team and Academic Directors to ensure the relevance, appeal, and competitiveness of programmes in the LBS Open portfolio.
  • Ensuring close collaboration with Client Directors to meet the needs of clients effectively.
  • Managing a select portfolio of open programmes.
Candidate Profile
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to cultivate and sustain relationships with senior-level clients.
  • Demonstrated experience in a senior sales management capacity.
  • Proven track record in formulating and executing sales strategies coupled with operational expertise.
  • Strong negotiation, networking, and influencing skills.
  • Proficient presentation skills and adept at utilizing data, alongside robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience in consultative sales and building relationships with clients to develop tailored solutions.
  • Familiarity with CRM software, including Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work effectively with senior leadership.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the organization's activities and competitor landscape within the educational sector.
  • Capability to identify industry best practices and translate them into strategic planning for the area of expertise.
  • Strong financial management skills and experience in budgeting and reporting.
  • Experience in leading a team at a senior level.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
