Join Our Team as a Senior Estimator

Guildmore is seeking a skilled Senior Estimator to enhance our Facades & Cladding division. This pivotal role focuses on estimating primarily for residential high-rise Façade and Cladding remedial projects, with opportunities arising from various Housing Association Frameworks and private sector initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and confirm bid documents and any amendments.
  • Create comprehensive documentation based on subcontractor tender returns and personal measurements with applicable rates.
  • Evaluate plans, bills of quantities, and other project materials to accurately estimate costs.
  • Conduct research, source, negotiate, and secure competitive pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Participate in mid and post-tender discussions with clients and subcontractors.
  • Perform risk assessments based on the information provided by the client.
  • Analyze costs related to logistics and timelines.
  • Visit project sites to collect information and preliminary cost data.
  • Collaborate closely with the Commercial Manager, Head of Design, and Head of Operations.
  • Complete the Form of Tender and tender letter, including any qualifications and necessary contract sum analysis.
  • Prepare information packages for the construction team upon successful tendering, and lead the handover meeting to brief the team.
  • Identify opportunities for value engineering and assess tender risks.

This role offers a competitive salary range of £55,000-£65,000 along with a comprehensive benefits package.
