Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Primary School Teaching Assistant to join our team at EdEx - Education Recruitment. As a Primary School Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the teaching and learning process in a dynamic and inclusive primary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the teacher in planning, preparing, and delivering lessons to students in Nursery and Reception (2-4 years old)
  • Carry out Phonics, Spelling, Reading, and Writing Sessions to support students' literacy development
  • Assist students with mild Special Educational Needs, providing individualized support and accommodations as needed
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting social skills and emotional well-being among students

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Trained (or higher) in CACHE or Health and Social Care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other school staff
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
