Probation Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Probation Service Officer. As a key member of our Prison and Probation Service, you will play a vital role in keeping our community safe by assessing, managing, and supporting offenders in the community and in custody to reduce the risk of re-offending.
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to adapt to changing priorities, and work with discretion, diplomacy, and sound judgment. You will work closely with offenders in the community as part of their court sentences and undertake intervention work to reduce re-offending.

- Annual leave starting from 21 days, a Privilege Day, and 10 Bank Holidays; your annual leave will increase after your first year and again after your third year.
