Area Sales Manager Opportunity

Headlam Group plc, a leading floor covering distributor, is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to join their team. This exciting opportunity involves identifying new and existing customers' potential and leveraging opportunities to grow sales with existing products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a designated area to deliver sales revenue targets
  • Build relationships with new and existing customers
  • Utilize sales decks to deliver market-leading presentations introducing customers to new products and ranges
  • Manage customer pricing quotations and terms to protect margins while driving sales forward
Requirements:
  • External sales experience with a history of working to targets
  • Previous experience within the UK flooring industry
  • Individual sales success in a retail, wholesale, or other customer-facing role
  • Premium brand mindset with an interest in quality products and brand loyalty

This is a full-time role with a competitive salary and uncapped market-leading monthly bonus, as well as regular incentives. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a broad range of floor coverings and develop their skills through 3 days of training dedicated to the company's systems, products, and sales skills.

As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for launching new ranges into retailers and specifiers alike by creating and delivering a market-leading presentation using the company's detailed sales decks. You will cover postcodes PL TA EX TR and TQ, and your first few weeks in this role will involve managing your area to deliver sales revenue targets, building relationships with new and existing customers, and utilizing sales decks to deliver market-leading presentations.
