JOB TITLE: INSTRUCTOR - FRESH START PROGRAM

LOCATION: KING'S LYNN/ WISBECH

SALARY: £18,112 - £22,841 PER ANNUM

HOURS: 22.5 PER WEEK (0.6 FTE)

The Fresh Start Program is designed to foster a nurturing and encouraging educational atmosphere aimed at enhancing study skills, boosting achievement, and building self-esteem among our students. Our curriculum guides learners towards City & Guilds qualifications through structured 7-week lesson blocks, enabling successful participants to advance from Entry Level to Level 2 throughout the academic year. In this role, you will assist students in developing essential life skills, communication abilities, study techniques, and employability skills while also achieving qualifications in English and mathematics.

The Fresh Start team collaborates with various departments within the College of West Anglia to equip our students with vital employability skills, personal growth opportunities, and pathways to further education or job placements.

This position offers a unique opportunity to significantly impact the lives of young individuals who have faced challenges in their educational journeys.

Salary placement will be determined based on your experience and teaching qualifications. Typically, appointments will not be made at point 10 or above (£32,384) without a level 5 teaching qualification and relevant experience.
