JOB TITLE: EDUCATOR - FRESH START PROGRAM
LOCATION: KING'S LYNN/ WISBECH
SALARY: £18,112 - £22,841 PER ANNUM
HOURS: 22.5 PER WEEK (0.6 FTE)
The Fresh Start Program is designed to foster a nurturing and encouraging educational atmosphere aimed at enhancing learners' study skills, boosting their confidence, and improving their academic performance. Our structured curriculum guides students towards achieving City & Guilds qualifications through intensive 7-week instructional blocks, enabling successful participants to advance from Entry Level to Level 2 throughout the academic year.
As an educator, you will play a pivotal role in equipping students with essential life skills, effective communication techniques, study strategies, and employability competencies, all while facilitating their acquisition of English and mathematics qualifications.
The Fresh Start team collaborates with various departments within the College of West Anglia to deliver comprehensive support in personal development and employability, guiding learners towards further educational opportunities or career paths.
This position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of young individuals who have faced challenges in their educational journeys.

Salary placement will be determined based on relevant experience and teaching qualifications, with appointments typically not exceeding point 10 (£32,384) without a level 5 teaching qualification and requisite experience.
