JOB TITLE: INSTRUCTOR - FRESH START PROGRAM
SALARY: £18,112 - £22,841 PER ANNUM
HOURS: 22.5 PER WEEK (0.6 FTE)
The Fresh Start initiative is designed to foster a nurturing and encouraging educational atmosphere aimed at enhancing study skills, boosting academic performance, and building self-esteem among our students. Our curriculum guides learners towards City & Guilds certifications through structured 7-week lesson blocks, allowing successful participants to advance from Entry Level to Level 2 throughout the academic year.
As an instructor, you will play a crucial role in helping students cultivate essential life skills, effective communication, and study techniques while also achieving qualifications in English and mathematics.
The Fresh Start team collaborates with various departments within the College of West Anglia to equip learners with vital employability skills, promote personal growth, and support their journey towards further education or career opportunities.
This position offers a unique opportunity to positively impact the lives of young individuals who have faced challenges in their educational journeys.

Please be aware that salary placement will be influenced by your experience and teaching credentials. Typically, appointments will not be made at point 10 or above (£32,384) without a level 5 teaching qualification and relevant experience.
