About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Cherwell Hospital in Banbury. As a key member of our Wards department, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal care and therapy
  • Support patients with social, emotional, and recreational needs
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient care
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment

Requirements

  • NVQ level 2 or 3 (or equivalent experience)
  • Previous hospital experience (desirable)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings
  • Computer literacy skills
