Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team in the Gynaecology department at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the running of general clinics and diagnostic services, including two-week wait services, hysteroscopy, and colposcopy.

Main Responsibilities

You will be responsible for chaperoning, supporting doctors, nurses, and patients to ensure safe and professional experiences for patients. This will involve working closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care and support to women using our services.

About the Role

You will be given a comprehensive training programme to ensure you have the skills and knowledge required to excel in this role. You will also have the opportunity to work with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.

Person Specification

We are looking for someone with significant experience of the NHS or healthcare sector and a genuine interest in women's health. You will need to be a team player with excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering compassionate patient-centred care.

Desirable Qualifications

Evidence of the Care Certificate or commitment to achieving it on joining the Trust. Understanding of the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers.
