Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to patients in our wards and clinical areas.

Main Duties

  • Provide personal care for patients, including washing, dressing, toileting, and assisting with mobilising and feeding.
  • Assist registered members of staff to deliver a high standard of care to patients, demonstrating compassion, kindness, and sensitivity.
  • Work as part of the team, under the supervision of trained nurses, to assist with the delivery of planned healthcare and meet the physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
