Job Title: Traffic and Transportation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Traffic and Transportation Engineer to join our team at Burgoynes. As a Road Traffic Accident Investigator, you will be responsible for conducting forensic investigations of road traffic incidents and accidents, including vehicle component failures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough investigations of road traffic incidents and accidents, including vehicle component failures
  • Review police reports and other documentation, including photographs, plans, and operating manuals
  • Undertake telephone inquiries with vehicle and equipment suppliers and manufacturers to obtain technical information
  • Test vehicles and vehicle-related components
  • Meet with experts appointed by other parties as part of the litigation process
Requirements:
  • Good honours degree in an engineering or science-based subject, such as physics
  • Several years of postgraduate experience in a science or engineering-related field
  • Practical ability and strong academic record
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly, both verbally and in writing
Training and Prospects:
