About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Director to lead our UK sales team and drive business growth in the region.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and creating new business opportunities, nurturing and developing strong business partnerships, and effectively negotiating agreements to drive business partnerships with new clients aligned to our sales targets and strategy.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in a direct sales position, managing the full sales cycle, preferably within a logistics, distribution, supply chain business or a similar field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Identify and create new business opportunities to grow our UK market presence for delivery services.
  • Partnership Development: Nurture and develop strong business partnerships, through understanding clients' needs and translating into tailored commercial service proposals.
  • Agreement Negotiation: Effectively negotiate agreements to drive business partnerships with new clients aligned to our sales targets and strategy.
  • Collaboration: Proactively collaborate with cross-functional partners to continually elevate the business infrastructure.
  • Brand Awareness: Regular travel to trade shows and client locations; increasing brand awareness and maximizing networking opportunities.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a direct sales position, managing the full sales cycle, preferably within a logistics, distribution, supply chain business or a similar field.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and partners.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to identify, present, and negotiate attractive service packages.
  • Language Skills: Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and partners.
  • Travel: Comfortable with regular travel, including overnight stays, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
