Job Title: Principal Civil Engineer

Flagship Consulting is seeking an experienced Principal Civil Engineer to lead our team in delivering high-quality projects in the water and utilities sector.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team as a Principal Civil Engineer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the design and delivery of projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, sustainability, and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and delivery of projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, sustainability, and safety.
  • Craft briefs, define scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Foster development in your team, helping everyone chart a course to success.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Civil or Structural engineering.
  • Chartered Engineer status, membership of IStructE or ICE.
  • Extensive experience of RC design and detailing, including water retaining structures, soil retaining structures, and foundation design.
  • Experience of steelwork design.
  • Working knowledge of geotechnics and soil-structure interactions.
  • Experience of the water/ utilities sector an advantage.
