About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Building Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Central London. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical services within a one-man site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform day-to-day maintenance tasks and respond to issues as they arise
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance on HVAC plant and equipment
  • Supervise specialist subcontractors and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure up-to-date records
  • Arrange for subcontractor PPM attendances and issue RAMS and Permits as required
Requirements
  • Mechanical engineer with a maintenance background
  • FGas Certificate
  • Experience in fault finding and maintenance of LTHW heating systems, Air Compressors, Gas Fired Boilers, Steam Boilers, Water Treatment, Cooling Towers, etc
  • L8 ACOP and Legionella Awareness
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with all levels of the workforce
  • Electrical knowledge and ability to work in a customer-focused environment
  • Sound knowledge of safety documentation and ability to develop procedures to ensure site safety
  • COSHH Awareness and First Aid
  • Positive and confident attitude with a professional approach and smart appearance
