Job Title: Furniture Store Sales Assistant
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Furniture Store Sales Assistant to join our team at Big Lots. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and supporting the sales process.
Key Responsibilities:- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Store Operations: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and customer service areas.
- Sales Support: Assist customers with purchases, process transactions, and maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Inventory Management: Receive and stock merchandise, maintain accurate inventory levels, and participate in inventory counts.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with other sales floor team members to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service.
- Basic English Literacy and Math Skills: Ability to read, write, and perform basic math calculations.
- Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Previous Retail Experience: Prior retail experience preferred, but not required.
