This role will primarily be situated at our main site, with potential future opportunities to engage in community-based clinics.
Key Responsibilities
Our patient care support specialists collaborate with medical and nursing staff to assist in both general and surgical clinics, which may involve procedures such as biopsies and excisions.
Working alongside experienced professionals fosters a supportive learning atmosphere, allowing for the development of various dermatological skills pertinent to further assessments and surgical procedures.

Job Duties
1. To accurately and promptly execute the directives of the Registered Nurse who is responsible for the care provided.
2. To deliver care and perform tasks as outlined in the Trust's Approved core task list for Patient Care Support Specialists.
3. To inform the Registered Nurse of any patient concerns or changes in condition.
4. To respond appropriately to clinical emergencies to ensure patients receive the necessary care.
5. To assist in the admission process under the guidance of the Registered Nurse.
6. To provide and deliver high-quality individualized personal care.
7. To report all care provided to patients within the team to a Registered Nurse.
8. To accurately document all care delivered to patients, with countersignature from a Registered Nurse, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
