In this position, you will take charge of our Internal Communications strategy, elevating it to new heights. You will seek out compelling narratives and experiences to share, confidently engaging with stakeholders to emphasize the significance of Internal Communications and how they can contribute to fostering engagement within the organization. Your networking skills will be crucial as you connect with individuals at all levels, demonstrating a commitment to delivering an outstanding experience that motivates Marshall employees throughout the organization.

Your key responsibilities will encompass:
  • Facilitating the development and execution of an internal communication strategy that aligns with business growth, collaborating with the HR team and Business Line Leaders to enhance employee engagement.
  • Ensuring that the organization's purpose, strategic initiatives, and projects are effectively communicated to employees and stakeholders.
  • Serving as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders.
  • Maintaining consistency in internal communication messages across various channels and departments.
  • Aligning internal communication messages with external communication efforts.
  • Creating, editing, and writing content for diverse internal communication platforms, including the Intranet, Team Briefs, and All Employee Briefings.
  • Translating creative concepts into engaging communication campaigns.
  • Overseeing campaigns, channels, and messaging, utilizing feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Drafting messages or scripts for senior executives to present to employees in both written and verbal formats.
  • Responding to employee feedback and adjusting communication content as necessary.
  • Managing projects such as Senior Management Conferences and All Employee Briefings.
  • Staying informed about industry best practices to enhance our internal communications approach.
  • Organizing your workload effectively and contributing to the smooth operation of internal communication channels.

We are looking for candidates who possess most of the following qualifications:

  • Experience in a communications team, preferably within a B2B/B2G context.
  • Proficiency in writing for diverse audiences; journalistic or marketing experience is advantageous.
  • Ability to engage and influence stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and collaborative skills.
  • Creative thinking and a willingness to challenge conventional approaches.
  • Exceptional copywriting and storytelling abilities.
