Director of Sales - Innovation Funding

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Sales to lead our Innovation Funding sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth in the Innovation Funding market. You will work closely with our Principals and Practice Leaders to identify and pursue new business opportunities.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for Innovation Funding services, including target market identification, lead generation, and relationship building.
  • Lead a team of sales professionals, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance management to drive individual and team success.
  • Collaborate with Principals and Practice Leaders to identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing client relationships and across all Firm service lines.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in Innovation Funding.
  • Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients, showcasing the value proposition of our Innovation Funding services.
  • Negotiate and close deals with prospective clients, ensuring a smooth and successful onboarding process.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline progress, and client interactions in CRM systems.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field.
  • Six to eight years of proven experience in sales, preferably within the financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of Innovation Funding concepts and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
