Bruin is a prominent player in the asset management sector, recognized for its commitment to excellence. As part of our ongoing expansion within the product division, we are looking for a Product Innovation Lead to enhance our team.
The successful candidate will collaborate with clients across EMEA and APAC regions, working closely with both investment and sales departments. The Product Innovation Lead will be responsible for the following key functions:
- Defining product specifications, including aspects of design, market feasibility, and operational practicality;
- Creating comprehensive fund documentation, such as fund prospectuses, in partnership with external legal advisors and internal stakeholders;
- Overseeing and coordinating fund launches and modifications across various jurisdictions (including Luxembourg, Ireland, and the Cayman Islands) and fund categories (UCITS & AIFs);
- Managing the project lifecycle for product launches, ensuring adherence to governance protocols by engaging in the necessary approval processes;
- Addressing all regulatory requirements, including the Volcker rule and ESG considerations, along with any other relevant regulations impacting product design;
- Participating in special research initiatives focused on exploring new fund structures and potential fund domiciles to broaden our product portfolio.
The ideal candidate for the Product Innovation Lead role will possess the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, with direct involvement in overseeing a diverse product range across different jurisdictions and fund structures;
- Proficiency in reviewing and drafting fund proposals and legal documentation;
- A solid understanding of asset classes, including equities, fixed income, and alternatives;
- Technical expertise in UCITS/AIFs and a keen interest in the implications of emerging regulations;
- Capability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines;
- Fluency in French, German, Italian, or Spanish is advantageous but not mandatory;
- Possession of a CFA Charter is beneficial but not essential.
