Role Overview

We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic pharmacists to join our pharmacy team, delivering high-quality pharmacy services to patients in East Lothian Community Hospital.

The successful candidate will contribute to the development and delivery of our clinical pharmacy service, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide seamless care.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing a high-quality clinical pharmacy service to elderly patients and those with mental health problems
  • Medicines reconciliation, identification, and resolution of pharmaceutical care issues
  • Provision of a medicines information service and patient counseling
  • Close collaboration with other members of the clinical pharmacy team in NHS Lothian
Requirements

Candidates must possess a Master of Pharmacy Degree or equivalent, be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), and have completed or have equivalent competence as mapped to the Post Registration Foundation Pharmacist Framework.
