Please note that this is a part-time position, and the salary will be pro-rata.

About the Team

NHS Lothian Pharmacy & Medicines Service is a dynamic team dedicated to delivering high-quality pharmacy services to patients across Lothian. We are committed to creating an environment where every team member has the opportunity to grow, develop, and make the most of their skills.

East Lothian Community Hospital provides a range of services, including acute admission, assessment, and rehabilitation for elderly patients, as well as out-patient and in-patient services for patients with mental health problems.

About the Job

We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic pharmacists to join our team, delivering high-quality pharmacy services to patients. The successful candidates will contribute to the development and delivery of the clinical pharmacy service and will be a key member of the multidisciplinary teams.

Candidates will have experience of pro-actively influencing prescribing within a clinical setting and will have gained experience working in a patient-focused environment using their knowledge and skills to improve patient care and promote optimal outcomes from medicines.

Candidates must have a Master of Pharmacy Degree or equivalent, be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), and have completed or have equivalent competence as mapped to the Post Registration Foundation Pharmacist Framework available at:
