About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Control Specialist to join our team at Tunstall Healthcare (UK) Ltd. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and effective collection of debts and customer payments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and chase outstanding debts via correspondence and liaison with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure cash collection targets are achieved and maintain accurate Sales Ledger accounts to ensure debtor balances are correct.
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships, resolving disputes in a timely manner and in line with company guidelines.
  • Perform customer account reconciliations and ensure prompt action is given to customer correspondence to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Set up customer accounts in accordance with company policy and procedures, and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with the AR Team Leader to review ledgers and implement special projects as required.
Requirements
  • Previous credit control experience in a similar industry, with a strong understanding of financial systems and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and maintain good customer relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to reconcile complex accounts and make decisions in accordance with company policy.
  • High attention to detail and a strong focus towards accuracy, with the ability to manage workload efficiently and work towards targets and agreed timescales.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, with a flexible approach and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
