About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Front of House Receptionist to join our team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. As a key member of our reception team, you will provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience for all.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a high level of customer service, responding to patient and visitor queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage the reception area, ensuring a clean and organized environment, and maintaining confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as answering phones, responding to emails, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, and staff, promoting a positive and supportive environment.

Requirements

  • Good standard of general education.
  • NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience.
  • Experience of working with a high volume of enquiries both face to face and on the telephone.
  • Previous customer service experience.
