About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Mitsubishi Electric. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development in the FM sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and surpass sales targets
  • Collaborate with the Service Sales Management team and Regional Service Managers to develop the FM sector
  • Manage client contracts and relationships to ensure future business opportunities
  • Provide accurate quotations and pricing to ensure profitable margins
  • Offer turnkey chiller installation works as part of our routes to market
  • Work collaboratively with the Service Managers to communicate and introduce new business opportunities
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to identify opportunities and risks
  • Promote positive communication and collaboration with other departments and teams
  • Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and action items
  • Represent Mitsubishi Electric in a professional manner and preserve market reputation and integrity
  • Deliver specific tasks assigned by the Service Management Team to support business growth and development
  • Familiarize yourself with relevant systems and processes used for service delivery
  • Assist the Service Management Team in identifying areas for system development and implementation
  • Share project information with relevant departments to maximize opportunities
  • Update quotation status and provide feedback on lost quotations
  • Maintain accurate mileage reports and submit expenses on a monthly basis
  • Comply with all Mitsubishi Electric policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Strong construction industry experience and knowledge
  • High degree of curiosity and organisational skill in managing day-to-day activity
  • Commercial experience and a proven industry track record
  • Self-motivated and commercially-minded industry professional
  • Ability to work within a sustainability-focused team driving change in the built environment
