Job Description

Job Title: Strategic Financial Partner

Job Summary:

ZIGUP is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Financial Partner to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in providing financial expertise and strategic guidance to our senior leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial advice and analytical support to the Managing Director and senior teams
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and influence decision-making
  • Lead the forecasting process for FMG volumes, revenue, and overhead costs
  • Oversee the production of monthly reporting packs and provide valuable insight and commentary on financial and non-financial performance indicators
  • Conduct periodic reviews of customer profitability and provide guidance on maximizing revenue and controlling costs
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and drive financial performance through new initiatives, product development, and ad hoc project support
  • Provide proactive pricing support to the FMG and FMG RS New Business teams and analytical assistance for contract renewals and additional product promotions
  • Support the commercial team through internal pricing reviews, articulating risks and opportunities
  • Develop and maintain pricing models, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data inputs, and perform financial evaluations to understand the impacts of pricing actions on customer profitability

Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent) with solid business partnering experience
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of the key drivers of our business and how they interact
  • Experience of establishing professional and positive relationships with a range of stakeholders of varying seniority, with an ability to influence stakeholders towards positive outcomes
