Key Responsibilities

  • **Processing and Shipping**: Assist in processing and shipping parts requirements for service activities, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • **Logistics Support**: Collaborate with the Logistics Operative to manage general goods in, goods out, and stock control, maintaining accurate records and adhering to ISO processes.
  • **Order Fulfillment**: Pick, pack, and dispatch sales and service orders in a timely manner, adhering to ISO procedures and ensuring high-quality standards.
  • **Inventory Management**: Receive, book in, inspect, and store components in a timely manner, following ISO processes and procedures.
  • **Transportation and Storage**: Load and unload goods vehicles, move stock around the site safely and efficiently, and liaise with transport companies/couriers.
  • **Quality and Safety**: Undertake checks and inspections on tools, machinery, PPE, and other items as required, ensuring compliance with quality procedures and reporting any issues to the Operations Manager.
  • **Communication**: Maintain open communication with the Procurement Officer regarding shortages and with the Operations Manager regarding any issues that may cause delays.
  • **Continuous Improvement**: Strive to improve quality and performance, adhering to the company's Health & Safety, Security, Environmental, and Quality Strategies, Policies, and Objectives.

Requirements

  • **Experience**: Previous experience in a logistics or production environment is essential.
  • **Skills**: Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain accurate records.
