About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Care Assistant to join our team at Home Care Direct. This is a 10-hour per week position, with the opportunity to work additional hours on a part-time basis.

About the Client and Support Needed:

Our client is a kind-hearted and active individual who requires support to maintain their independence and develop social networks. They enjoy crafts, knitting, and keeping their mind active, and like to engage in activities such as shopping, coffee shops, theatre, and outdoor events. They attend their local sports centre on Wednesdays and enjoy games like boccia, trampolining, and swimming.

Responsibilities:

  • Administration of medication
  • Personal care
  • Mental health support
  • Assisting with community activities
  • Administrative duties
  • Accompanying our client to appointments
