Role Overview:
This temporary role focuses on providing comprehensive administrative support to the training delivery teams. The position involves ensuring the smooth operation of the training centre and any associated facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome and assist all visitors to the training centre, ensuring a positive and customer-centric experience.
  • Support the safe operation of the training centre by performing checks and inspections as directed.
  • Manage financial transactions and reporting in collaboration with the Cost Centre Manager, ensuring accurate procurement of goods and services.
  • Prepare training rooms for upcoming courses and meetings, fostering a conducive learning environment.
  • Assist external training providers and visitors to enhance their experience at the training centres.
  • Organize and maintain training materials for compliance with record retention policies.
  • Provide general administrative assistance to the onsite training team to facilitate effective training centre operations.
  • Maintain a professional telephone presence, delivering excellent customer service and relaying messages as needed.
  • Ensure the team has the necessary support to fulfill their duties effectively.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Resilient, adaptable, and flexible in approach.
  • Proficient in IT, particularly in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in a dynamic work environment.
  • Willingness to cover activities in other training locations as required.

Desirable Qualifications:
  • Background in the railway industry.
  • Familiarity with the Competence Management System.
  • Possession of a valid driving license.
