Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Training and Quality Control Co-ordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and quality controlling Simulation/Human Factors Training programmes within Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  1. To work closely with local educators to manage and quality control Simulation/Human Factors Training programmes.
  2. To ensure that training programmes meet the requirements of educational contracts or agreements.
  3. To identify and provide support to learners who are failing to engage in required simulation/human factors activity.
  4. To provide support to learners and/or faculty who wish to make presentations at local, regional and/or national simulation/human factors events.
  5. To participate in national bids for funding for simulation/human factors activity within the Trust.
  6. To attend national and regional Simulation/Human Factors meetings as required.
  7. To attend the quarterly Medical Education Group and regular Medical Education Senior Team Operational Group meetings.
  8. To ensure that feedback is sought from all delegates attending simulation/human factors activities and disseminate this feedback as appropriate.
  9. To ensure that potential simulation faculty can undertake appropriate training.
  10. To continue to develop innovative Simulation/Human Factors Training opportunities for multiprofessional staff groups.
Essential Criteria
  1. Completion of Full Specialty Training and a substantive post within BHRUT.
  2. Completion of Simulation/Human Factors Feedback Train the Trainer Course.
  3. Experience as a Simulation/Human Factors Faculty Member and knowledge of Simulation/Human Factors curricula requirements.
