Job Title: Assistant Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant Manager to join our team at CareTech Group. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the Residential Manager in the efficient running of our residential home.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Residential Manager in the development and implementation of systems to ensure high-quality care and support for our residents.
  • Support the management of staff, including supervision, training, and performance management.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with national care standards.
  • Participate in on-call rota to ensure effective management across services on a 24/7 basis.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and achieve organizational goals.
Requirements:
  • SVQ 3 and/or SVQ 4/SQF 9 in Children and Young People and HNC in Social Care/Academic equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as Senior Practitioner or a minimum of 3/4 years experience in a supervisory role and experience in a related field.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
  • Full UK driving licence.
