This position is full-time and permanent, operating during term time only.

Your Responsibilities as a Foundation Stage Teaching Assistant/Nursery Nurse:

  • Work Monday to Friday during term time
  • Hours: 8:30 AM to 3:45 PM
  • Engage with children in Nursery and Reception
  • Facilitate Phonics, Spelling, Reading, and Writing activities
  • Assist with general classroom responsibilities
  • Support children with mild Special Educational Needs (SEN) as required
  • Provide both individual and group booster sessions
Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Possess a Level 2 or 3 CACHE Qualification in Childcare
  • Hold a Level 6 qualification or degree in Childcare or Education
  • Understand the EYFS curriculum
  • Have experience in a school setting or private nursery
  • Exhibit a passion for working with young children
  • Collaborate effectively within a team
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills
