The Sparsholt College is seeking an experienced and qualified individual to join our Equine department as a lecturer. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and delivery of our FE curriculum, working closely with our team to provide high-quality education to our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging and effective teaching materials and resources for level 1, level 2, and level 3 courses
  • Contribute to the planning and implementation of curriculum development, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver innovative teaching methods and assessments
  • Provide guidance and support to students, promoting academic success and personal growth
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree or substantial industry experience in equine studies
  • Recognized teaching qualification or willingness to attain
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and industry partners
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances
