Job Title: Senior EHS Specialist

Location: Wirral

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior EHS Specialist to lead our Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) team in ensuring compliance and building a safety-first culture at our life sciences client's site in the Wirral.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven professional to drive safety excellence and take their career to the next level.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the development and implementation of EHS strategies and policies
  2. Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks
  4. Develop and deliver training programs to enhance EHS awareness and knowledge
  5. Manage hazardous and general waste disposal

Requirements:

  1. Experience in Life Sciences/Pharma or regulated environments
  2. Knowledge of Quality Management Systems
  3. Expertise in Occupational Hygiene within Lab/GxP settings
  4. NEBOSH Level 3 or equivalent certification
  5. Environment qualification (foundation level or above)
  6. Experience in cGMP & cGDP
  7. Knowledge of Facilities Management (hard & soft services)
  8. Strong communication skills
  9. Auditing experience
