Apleona UK is seeking a dynamic Senior EHS Specialist

to drive our commitment to environmental, health and safety excellence

in our Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) team

to promote a culture of safety across our operations

and our life science client operations

The Senior EHS Specialist will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams

including our Technical Hard Services Team and our contractors

our Soft Service Team, our life science client facilities team

and client EHS team to implement and support impactful EHS programs

What do you need?

  • Experience working in a Life Sciences / Pharmaceutical or a Regulated Compliant Environment
  • Working with Quality Management System requirements
  • Knowledge/Experience of Occupational Hygiene EHS preferably in a Lab I GxP Pharmaceutical Environment
  • Level 3 or above Health and Safety practitioner (NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent)
  • A foundation level or above Environment qualification
  • Experience of working in cGMP & cGDP environments
  • Knowledge of Facilities Management - soft and hard services
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexible approach to working hours to ensure our client receives the best service all the time
  • Auditing experience
  • Experience of dealing with site waste (general & Hazardous), documentation and compliance
