Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior EHS Specialist to join our Integrated Facilities Management team at Apleona UK. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in driving our commitment to environmental, health, and safety excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and support impactful EHS programs.
  • Develop and maintain a culture of safety across our operations and client facilities.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance EHS knowledge and skills.
Requirements
  • Experience working in a Life Sciences/Pharmaceutical or Regulated Compliant Environment.
  • Working knowledge of Quality Management System requirements.
  • Knowledge/Experience of Occupational Hygiene EHS preferably in a Lab GxP Pharmaceutical Environment.
  • Level 3 or above Health and Safety practitioner (NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent).
  • A foundation level or above Environment qualification.
  • Experience of working in cGMP & cGDP environments.
  • Knowledge of Facilities Management - soft and hard services.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Flexible approach to working hours to ensure our client receives the best service all the time.
  • Auditing experience.
  • Experience of dealing with site waste (general & Hazardous), documentation, and compliance.
