We are seeking a permanent full-time Quantity Surveyor to join our team.

About Us:

HUBER Parking UK believes in people and support development; we are looking for candidates that are looking to grow into management level in the company.

Our head office is in the UK, but projects are across the country. Candidates looking for a long-term engagement should be willing to travel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining upon client relationships.
  • Commercial Contract Management: Commercially managing contracts, including application preparation, identifying and valuing client change requests, managing client valuations.
  • Contract Administration: Serving contract notices in accordance with the contract, and customer/company policy.
  • Sub-Contractor Management: Managing subcontractors' applications, variations, payments, and final accounts.
  • Liaison and Reporting: Ongoing liaison with site team, subcontractors, and customers' representatives. Project reporting, including compiling monthly CVR reports and commercial risk reports and cost forecasts.
  • System Development: Building and implementing systems of work within the QS department to achieve the above.

Requirements:

  • Academic Qualifications: Academic level of thinking and working.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of relevant QS construction experience, including JCT management.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge in construction planning and understanding of construction execution. Ability to manage contracts, calculations, and budgets.
  • Personal Qualities: Positive, self-assured, and motivated. Productive, flexible, and eager to learn. A natural leader, motivating and inspiring.
  • Travel Requirements: Willing to travel across the country and abroad as required.
