Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor

A leading M&E contractor is seeking a senior quantity surveyor to join their team, working on projects across Surrey, West London, and Buckinghamshire.
About the Role:This role involves a mix of home working and site visits. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience as a quantity surveyor, specifically on projects ranging from £5m to £50m, with a strong understanding of working as a principal contractor.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer contract obligations and client requirements
- Manage commercial meetings with clients and internal project teams
- Negotiate with clients and subcontractors
- Develop and manage budgets, reports, and profit plans
The company is a well-established M&E contractor with a strong presence in London and a growing reach across the UK. They employ hundreds of staff and are a FTSE-listed company.
Requirements:- Minimum 7+ years of quantity surveying experience on commercial projects
- QS degree qualified
- Proficient in Excel
- Detailed knowledge of commercial management and QS roles within construction
- Knowledge of contract conditions and their applications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent record-keeping and administration skills
If you meet the requirements, you can expect a day rate of £400-£450 outside of IR35.
