About the Role

Funding Circle is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our team and help us drive business growth through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Play a key role in shaping and scaling our data analytics capabilities to inform business decisions
  • Build and own financial models to understand the economics of our products and services
  • Work with cross-functional teams to define and monitor key metrics driving business success
  • Develop and maintain reporting to track product performance and drive business outcomes
  • Collaborate with marketing and analytics teams to design and implement data-driven marketing strategies
  • Segment our customer base to enable targeted engagement and lifecycle management
  • Work with our technology teams to ensure data quality and integrity
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues

Requirements

  • At least 2 years' experience in analytics with financial services, preferably in credit card or revolving lending products
  • Bachelor's degree in quantitative or finance-related field required
  • Coding background with SQL and Python, along with experience using AWS platform
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams, including marketing and technology
  • Self-motivated and willing to take on a range of responsibilities
  • Proven problem-solving skills and ability to translate complex analytical outputs into clear stories
