Our work seamlessly blends three distinct domains: betting and gambling, quantitative research, and software development.

We are seeking a talented Data Analyst with a strong foundation in R programming to extract actionable insights from extensive datasets. As part of our team, you will contribute to diverse projects and collaborate closely to ensure we meet the evolving needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dive deep into complex datasets to uncover meaningful patterns, trends, and valuable insights.
  • Ensure data accuracy and reliability by cleansing and processing information meticulously.
  • Utilize statistical methods to interpret findings and validate results, driving data-driven decision-making.
  • Develop comprehensive reports that effectively communicate your findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, tools, and techniques in data analytics.
  • Implement and maintain robust data quality assurance processes to guarantee the reliability of analytical outputs.
Requirements

Must Have:

  • Proficiency in R programming, ideally with ggplot2, tidyverse, and related packages.
  • Advanced spreadsheet skills, particularly in Google Sheets and Excel.
  • A genuine passion for data analytics and a drive to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a data-oriented field (statistics, econometrics, economics, etc.) or several years of relevant experience in data analysis using the aforementioned software.

Desirable:

  • Experience with SQL/Sequel programming language.
  • Expertise in creating compelling visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Grafana.
  • Proven experience in data manipulation, management, and reporting.
  • Adept at solving analytical problems with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, enabling you to convey technical findings to non-technical audiences effectively.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work seamlessly within a team environment.
  • A passion and understanding of sports and sports betting markets/odds.
