About the Role:

Job Title: Data Analyst

Location: Remote (with occasional travel to client sites)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented Data Analyst to work on a contract basis with one of our banking clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating reports and dashboards to support business decision-making, as well as analyzing data to identify trends and insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop reports and dashboards to meet business requirements
  • Analyze data to identify trends and insights, and provide recommendations to stakeholders
  • Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions
  • Develop and maintain data visualizations and dashboards using tools such as Tableau or QlikView
  • Collaborate with developers to build and automate dashboards to meet senior leadership needs
  • Provide data-driven insights to support business decision-making

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst in an enterprise organization
  • Extensive experience creating reports for C-Level executives and stakeholders
  • Highly proficient in Excel (incl. advanced formulas macros) and PowerPoint
  • Thorough experience with data manipulation, interpretation, analyzing trends/themes and providing possible resolutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work in high-pressure tight deliverable situations to perform statistical analysis for use by senior leadership and audit teams

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in financial services in a technology-focused role
  • Strong understanding of technology Incident, problem, or change management
  • Experience with ServiceNow as a technology Incident and problem management tool
  • Experience with SQL – ability to create, interpret, and revise queries
  • Experience building reporting dashboards in tools such as Tableau or QlikView
  • Experience working with LLM for data analysis. Data science/modeling knowledge also a plus

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

Additional Requirements:

  • Requirements gathering to implementing solution and production
  • Basic SQL & ETL skills
  • Nice to have candidates with technology governance experience
