We are seeking an experienced Internal Sales Executive to join our team at our Valor Park branch. The successful candidate will work closely with the Branch and Regional Sales strategy and targets to attain monthly and annual sales targets for the branch.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage existing accounts to achieve maximum business potential
- Open new accounts and ensure they continue to develop profitably
- Engage with customers face to face and over the phone to identify opportunities and maintain customer relationships
- Accurately take and input orders onto the system
- Provide quotes and maximise add-on sales
- Make proactive sales telephone calls to lapsed accounts and potential new customers
- Collaborate closely with the warehouse team to ensure correct products are delivered on time
- Regularly engage with external sales and credit control teams
- Perform any other reasonable duties within the individual's capabilities
- Previous internal sales experience
- Sales experience in a construction-related distribution (preferable) and competitor knowledge (preferable)
- Good level of numeracy and IT skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain key relationships with customers and suppliers
