About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Housing IT Specialist to join our UK-based team at NEC Software Solutions. As an Implementation Consultant, you will play a key role in helping our customers in the not-for-profit social housing sector to implement and get the most out of our NEC Housing IT systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Configuration and Implementation: Provide expert guidance on configuring and implementing NEC Housing systems, with a focus on how the system is built and configured.
  • Customer Support and Training: Offer excellent advice and training to current customers using NEC Housing, ensuring they are happy and provide positive feedback consistently.
  • Training and Documentation: Create and maintain training courses and solution design manuals for both customers and internal teams.
  • Staying Up-to-Date: Stay current with the latest developments in all aspects of Social Housing Management.
  • Travel and Collaboration: Be flexible and available for travel throughout the UK to visit both customer and company sites when required.
Requirements
  • Essential Skills:
    • In-depth expertise in using NEC Housing - ideally candidates with experience in Allocations, Rents or Service Charge Modules within NEC Housing.
    • Demonstrated expertise in implementing Housing systems, with a strong focus on system configuration and build.
    • Proven track record of providing high-quality consultancy services to customers (including Local Authority Housing, ALMOs or Housing Associations).
    • Ability to consistently achieve positive customer feedback through effective delivery of consultancy and training services.
    • Proficiency in creating and maintaining training materials, including courses and solution design manuals for customers.
    • Proficiency in handling multiple parallel projects.
  • Desirable Skills:
    • Experience in creating, configuring, and implementing NEC Housing system modules.
    • Working knowledge of Unix and/or SQL.
