Service Advisor Job Description

About the Role:

The Recruitment Solution is seeking a highly skilled Service Advisor to join our team at a prestigious motor company in the Bedford area. As a Service Advisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring seamless communication between customers and the workshop, and driving sales growth through up-selling and cross-selling opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet and greet customers into the service reception, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience.
  • Book in vehicles, raise and close job cards, and gain authorizations for work to be carried out.
  • Liaise with the workshop regarding work in progress, ensuring timely completion and effective communication.
  • Arrange courtesy cars using the One Link system, ensuring customer satisfaction and convenience.
  • Cost, invoice, and hand over vehicles to customers, while also identifying opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling.

Requirements:

  • Previous main dealer experience, with a strong background in customer service, sales, and administration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Knowledge of RTC, One Link, and Kerridge systems, with the ability to adapt to new technology and processes.
