Overview:
The General Manager will be responsible for leading the onsite team, ensuring excellence across all departments and managing the operating budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Staff Management: Manage onsite staff, ensuring they are equipped to provide exceptional customer service and maintain a high level of resident satisfaction.
- Financial Management: Oversee the operating budget of the community, identifying areas for cost savings and implementing strategies to maximize revenue streams.
- Revenue Growth: Develop and implement plans to increase revenue, including optimizing rent collection and exploring new business opportunities.
- Team Development: Lead the hiring, training, and development of onsite teams, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles.
- Operational Excellence: Implement strategies to ensure the smooth running of the building, including managing maintenance and repairs, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Resident Retention: Develop and implement resident retention and renewal programs, ensuring high levels of resident satisfaction and reducing turnover.
- Administrative Tasks: Process payment of invoices relating to the maintenance and operations of the building, and complete reports as required.
- Community Engagement: Supervise the planning and execution of social activities onsite, ensuring a positive and engaging community environment.
- Commercial Management: Manage commercial units, ensuring they are rented and maintained to the highest standards.
Requirements:
- Experience: Prior experience managing a Build-to-Rent development, with a proven track record of success.
- Leadership: Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve exceptional results.
- Customer Focus: Passionate about customer service, with a commitment to ensuring excellence in all aspects of the job.
- Business Acumen: Good understanding of building operations and statutory obligations, with the ability to make informed decisions and drive business growth.
