Red - Specialist Recruitment is seeking a dedicated HSEQ Specialist to assist the HSEQ Team and the broader Operations Teams. This role will focus on the coordination of all monitoring and reporting activities related to fleet performance and the execution of the Integrated Management System.


KEY QUALIFICATIONS

  • Familiarity with International Maritime Regulations (ISM Code) and ISO Standards (9001, 14001).
  • Understanding of maritime statutory obligations (SOLAS and MARPOL).
  • Proficient in root cause analysis techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capability to engage positively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and PowerPoint.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate closely with Fleet, Ship, and Shore personnel to ensure effective implementation of the Integrated Management System and drive continuous improvement.
  • Provide support and communication with the HSEQ Manager on global initiatives and issues.
  • Oversee the 'Events and Actions Module' and conduct regular quality checks to ensure proper categorization and workflow status.
  • Assist in system evaluations to confirm adherence to workflows and processes, offering support and guidance as necessary.
  • Review and upload Senior Management visit reports and external audit findings into the inspection system.
  • Aid in gathering information and data to fulfill customer and company reporting obligations.
  • Track the completion of all internal vessel inspections and update the Master KPI log accordingly.
  • Monitor overdue actions, generate reports, and distribute them to vessels and the Operations team.
  • Supervise the fleet's response actions to notices, safety alerts, and campaigns.
  • Organize agendas, coordinate attendance, and contribute to presentations for office HSEQ meetings.
  • Maintain records of vessels' LTI-free days and notify the team when vessels reach significant anniversary dates.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly HSEQ KPI reports.
  • Act as the designated coordinator for Drug and Alcohol Testing.
  • Manage drug and alcohol testing processes, including record maintenance and liaising with third-party testing companies to ensure proper processing of invoices and results.
  • Conduct monthly checks and maintain documentation related to the Emergency Response Team (ERT) Room, including inventory checks of ERT plans and emergency contact lists.
