We currently have an exciting new opportunity for an **Operations Coordinator / Project Manager** to join the business.
**Position**:
- Ensure on-time, on-quality, and on-budget project execution per client requirements.
- Maintain open and timely communication, managing risks and opportunities.
- Conduct client meetings to secure contracts and maintain relationships.
- Update progress reports, minutes, and project schedules, organising necessary meetings.
- Verify contractual details and scope of work before accepting Purchase Orders.
- Coordinate with DCC to issue required documentation for client approval.
- Request and manage Purchase Orders for materials and external services.
- Approve relevant certificates for hired equipment before use.
- Provide job cards to ensure colleagues understand project scope and HSEQ requirements.
- Ensure availability of work instructions and drawings at job sites.
- Manage project costs, seeking approval for over-budget expenses.
- Maintain sales order and enquiry dates for accurate forecasting.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties for project execution.
- Develop and monitor detailed project plans.
- Measure project performance and report to management as needed.
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
- Support project documentation preparation and distribution.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of project management processes.
- Adhere to and promote Company HSEQ policies and procedures.
**Requirements**:
- Proven track record of managing and coordinating projects in the energy sector, with a strong understanding of project lifecycle and methodologies.
- In-depth knowledge of operational processes and best practices within the energy industry, including safety regulations, quality control, and compliance standards.
- Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools used for project management and operations, such as ERP systems, MS Project, and other relevant software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels, including clients, team members, and senior management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify issues, develop solutions, and implement corrective actions.
