Job Title: Care Assistant - Bank

We are currently looking for dedicated Care Assistants to join our bank at Astley View Care Home in Chorley, Lancashire. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality care to our elderly residents, working within a modern and innovative service that offers exceptional care.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with all elements of their personal care, including washing, dressing, and daily living activities
  • Observe, monitor, and record residents' physical and emotional well-being, and promptly report any changes to senior staff
  • Work creatively with the team to provide bespoke care for each individual resident, helping to maximize their quality of life

Requirements:

  • Experience working within a dementia and/or residential environment
  • Ability to participate in the preparation, implementation, review, and update of residents' care plans
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
