Job Opportunity: HR Advisor
We are seeking a skilled HR Advisor to join our team at McGregor Boyall. As an HR Advisor, you will play a crucial role in providing effective HR advisory and administration services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and develop managers in matters of employee relations, including disciplinary and grievance issues, working with trade unions.
- Provide guidance on HR policies and processes.
- Oversee the administration of employment records and related documents.
- Support HR projects and initiatives.
- Deliver induction training for new starters.
- Assist with all aspects of recruitment and selection.
- Be the primary point of contact for managers and employees on all people matters.
- Maintain data and manage the HRIS.
- Produce management information reports.
Requirements:
- Experience in a HR role, HR advisory or officer, within a busy working environment.
- Excellent understanding of employment law.
- Good understanding of employee relation matters.
- Exposure to unions and TUPE.
- HR operational experience.
- High attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
